Unfortunately, I can’t enter as I have not read it yet. I think, I better hold off on coming back to this post too. If entrants all post their fave scene, it may spoil it for me. I don’t want to take a chance, since I am really looking forward to reading it!

  2. msthriller says:

Did you not get your copy in the mail yet? I can send you the pdf if you like.

    • Lu says:

Hi Traci. I did not receive my copy yet. Of course, that doesn’t mean I won’t. I know sometimes it can take almost 3 weeks to get mail from the US. When was it mailed? I will let you know as soon as I do receive it if it does arrive.

  3. Tammy Snyder says:

Hey Traci, you’ve updated to fav book! Boy, you sure leave it open. Every book I read becomes my favorite! lol And since, for this contest, I just read yours (preparing to give my fav. part but understand you don’t want to give anything away) I will still have to say your Burn out! It was great! Your characters have great personalities, your storyline flows along at a fast and fun pace. (I see others think the same.;) You did a great job and the cover you have for it totally made me want to read it .(I do judge a book by it’s cover!…it really matters!) I like how the story moved along and the point of view was different…not all from the victim. Nice job!
    5Star!

    Tammy Snyder

  4. Tammy Snyder says:

BTW…I’m going to post some of my comment for your review on B&N and Amazon for ya!

  5. Lisa S says:

Loved this debut book. The cliffhanger left me wanting more. I think my favorite part in this book was about the husband that didn’t want to pay the prostitute. I really thought that was funny.

    Good job Traci!

  6. Brandi says:

i would love to win this

  7. Jana says:

I would say Burn Out! Because when I saw the cover I was like ‘Oooh yeah, I’m buying this!’ and it was the first book I had of yours, one of my friends told me to check you out, and I can safely say I am in debt to this person! =P

  8. Debra McDonald says:

    I love them all!!!
    AWESOME CONTEST!!!

  9. Mary Sieczkowski says:

Not sure if you want favorite book of those listed? or favorite book in general? Burn Out looks interesting and would probably be the first of the above books I would read. Of the books I’ve read lately, I loved Protector and Elisha’s Bones. My all time favorite would have to be Jane Eyre, a classic. Since getting my Kindle app mid January (my Kindle late February) I’ve read almost 40 books, many by Indie authors. There is a wonderful world of new(er) authors out there to enjoy!

  10. Danie says:

I just found your blog, and I have to say I’m loving it! I’ve copied down a bunch of recipes to try, thanks!

Anyways, my favorite book would have to be Gone by Michael Grant. Yes, it’s YA, but it’s also very, very good.

    • msthriller says:

I hope you enjoy the recipes Danie. I’ve had more people come to the site looking for chili recipes than ever! LOL I haven’t read Gone yet but it’s on my TBR list. Thanks for sharing.

  11. I have never personally read any of the authors that are listed in the giveaway, but what an excellent chance to find a new favorite! In all the books I have read, I’d still have to say the entire Harry Potter series is still my favorite. Maybe it comes to mind first with the movie being released tomorrow and the final movie coming out soon! Ooohhh but a new favorite I literally finished a couple of days ago would be Water for Elephants. Wonderfully written book and I can’t wait to see that movie also!

  12. Lisa Peters says:

I loved Gone with the Wind and have read it several times. Huge Jane Austen fan also thanks

  13. Kristy says:

I know probably a lot of people say this. But I LOVE the twilight series. I’ve always been a reader, but this has gotten me back into it big time. I also love Marley &Me. 🙂

  14. Sarah Ashcroft says:

I have not yet been lucky enough to read your books but they look really interesting. I have read so much during my recent surgery and bed rest! I do’t really have a favourite book. I read such a mix but have read all by Sarah Barnard and also love The Millennium Trilogy.

    • msthriller says:

I hope you get a chance to read Burn Out Sarah. Sorry to hear you have been sick. 😦 Hope you get to feeling better. That is one bright side of being in bed- you get to read all you want!

  15. I would have to say that the entire Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is my favorite! =)

  16. Jodi says:

Love Pride and Prejudice…but also a BIG mystery fan. Has anyone heard of the Mrs. Pollifax series. From the 80s-90s but SO GOOD.

  17. Gayle Hillman says:

My fave book since getting the Kindle has to be My Perfect Wedding by Sibel Hodge but all time favourite is The Green Mile – Stephen King.

  18. aubreylaine says:

My fave book is To Kill a Mockingbird.
    aubreyfick@yahoo.com

  19. Karen Osmon says:

Just found your blog and loving it! Can’t wait to read some of your work, sounds like the type books I will really like!

  20. Cindy says:

I just found your blog and I’m really enjoying it! My favorite book is Water for Elephants – it just blew me away! (Close 2nd is the Hunger Games trilogy!)

  21. Erin says:

    Great, generous contest, thank you!!

It’s hard for me to choose a favorite book as I have so many over the years I really love. I’d say my current favorite – if I had to choose one – would be the original Sookie Stackhouse novel Dead till Dark, since it began my favorite series.

    • msthriller says:

Hi Erin, Thanks for stopping by. The only book I’ve read so far by Ms. Harris is Grave Sight. It is the first in the series and I think she has the 2nd out now. It was a fun, fast read.

  22. Kami says:

I have so many favorite books it is hard to narrow it down to one. I loved Magic Bites (Kate Daniels #1)by Ilona Andrews, Outlander by (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon, Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead and The Host (The Host, #1) by Stephenie Meyer and many many others.

  23. Britney Wilkins says:

    Hi Traci,
I have yet to read this Burn Out, but it looks very interesting. I am always looking for new authors to read. I am an avid reader of mystery/thrillers, but occasionally I will read a different genre. Some would say I have a book addiction. Of all the books I have read I will have to say that The Chamber by John Grisham is my favorite. I keep thinking that it will get knocked by some other books, but that has yet to happy. I believe your book could be the one to do it. I can’t wait to read it.

  24. Brenda says:

I am so excited to have stumbled upon your blog. Burn Out looks fantastic and I can’t wait to start!
As for my favorite book i don’t honestly know, as odd as that sounds. I loved Bastard Out of Carolina and Their Eyes Were Watching God which are considered Southern Lit. but I love romance novels like The Witch series by Annette Blair, and even classics like Johnny Tremain. It is just to hard to pick one specific book.

  25. Karen in TN says:

I can’t pick just one as a favorite (except perhaps Lord of the Rings … does that explain why I have four different editions?); for a (current) favorite author, though, I’d have to say Jim Butcher (and pick the two series as my “favorite” book).

  26. Gale Minchew says:

What a wonderful promotion, Traci! My favorite book right now is Juliet by Ann Fortier.

  27. Linda Sharkey says:

    My favorite book
    Gone With The Wind

  28. Lu says:

YAY! I see the rules were updated, and I am now eligible to enter! All I have to do is tell you the title of my favourite book? Hmmmm, that is harder than it sounds!! There are so many books that I just love!
I guess if I had to choose just one, I would have to go with my copy of Charlotte’s Web by E.B White. It was the first novel I read completely on my own quite a few years ago, when I was in 2nd grade. I still have that exact copy. While, I love Charlotte’s Web, it may not be my top favourite story anymore, but that copy is definitely my favourite book. ( after nearly 3 decades, and many reads, it is no longer in great condition. I had to purchase another copy to read to my children, so that my copy doesn’t get destroyed!!)
The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams, Love You Forever by Robert Munsch are a couple more of my favourite children’s books!
Forrest Gump by Winston Groom is another favourite! ( I read it a few years before the movie came out. Loved it. the sequel is great too!)
Yeah, listing just one is too hard, I could list another 10 easily!

  29. LadyVampire says:

Congratulations on the release of “Burn Out”! My favorite books keep changing as I read more and more but I can tell you what my current favorites are. “The Outlaw Demon Wails” by Kim Harrison, “Claimed By Shadow” by Karen Chance and “Twice Bitten” by Chloe Neill.

  30. Rebecca James says:

My favorite book is “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott. Congratulations on the release of your new book “Burn Out.”

  31. Christine Price says:

Hey there! Congratulations on the release of your new book. My favorite books keep changing now that I am finding new authors thanks to my kindle!

I loved Something Borrowed and Something Blue by Emily Giffin and The Twilight Series. (pre-Kindle)
My new favorite from what I have read recently would have to be We Interrupt This Date by L.C. Evans and Saving Rachel by John Locke. I would have never found these books if it weren’t for the Kindle books. I am excited to read The Fashion Police by Sibel Hodge as it is on my wish list.

    Thanks so much.

  32. Tammy Garrett says:

Congratulations on the release of your new book “Burn Out”; it looks and sounds great. I purchased it for my Nook Color today, and I’m looking forward to reading it soon.

I have had many favorite books over the years, but I just discoverd a new author (for me) through a free download to my Nook from Barnes and Noble and this series has become my newest favorite; The Mating, The Finding & The Keeping by Nicky Charles. This is a paranormal romantic suspense series and I LOVED them all, but I suppose my favorite would be the first in the series, The Mating.

  33. Susan says:

Thanks for the chance to win these great prizes! Choosing just one favorite book isn’t easy at all. For “classics”, I would have to say To Kill a Mockingbird and Johnny Tremain are favorites. For more contemporary fiction, I would list Margaret Atwood’s The Blind Assassin and Leif Enger’s Peace Like A River. Those are two very different stories and writing styles. Margaret Atwood’s book challenged me as a reader and Leif Enger’s story is just plain wonderful.

  34. carmen says:

Awesome! My favorite book (I am assuming you mean ever!) is and will always be Anne of Green Gables. Such a beautiful little book and one that I wish I could live in!!

  35. Heather Lanham says:

    Still crossing my fingers! 🙂

  36. Maria says:

Am I supposed to pick my favorite book from the list? Or my favorite book of all time????

Well, let’s just say I’m here because Burn looks great. Fashion Police looks like a ton of fun as well! So enter me if you will; I’d love to win some of these fabulous prizes!!!

    Maria

  37. Samantha Weiler says:

Jane Eyre is one of all-time favo books….just LOVE it.

The Book Thief is also a fav, along with the Stieg Larson ‘Girl with…’ series.

You have some great contests, thanks 🙂

  38. April says:

I think I’d have to say that my favorite book of all time is Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (and all the rest of the series too). It’s got all the good stuff: adventure, history, science, romance, lots of fun.

  39. Jackie says:

I couldn’t even begin to pick a favorite book! It would be like asking which kid is my favorite. Congratulations on getting your book published – I loved it!

  40. msthriller says:
